In Road to Berlin, the new DLC for the PC version of World of Tanks, players join one of five units to fight together on the side of the Soviet, US or British armed forces. Using skills such as air and artillery strikes or special ammunition, players must complete different and successive mission objectives on four new maps. In Road to Berlin, players have to conquer special areas and then defend them or eliminate certain enemy targets.
As players advance the Road to Berlin, they receive rewards such as cosmetic adjustments, equipment, and a special medal. Players who prove themselves on the Road to Berlin will be rewarded with the main prize: the powerful Soviet heavy tank IS-2 with armored spacing.
The battles will take place on four maps specially designed for Road to Berlin; including the brand new Berlin map. The first three cards will be playable from May 4th; the Berlin Card will not be available until the late evening of May 8th. To honor the 75th anniversary of the end of World War II in Europe, the new game mode will be available free of charge from May 4th through May 18th.
