Saber Interactive keeps the players of World War Z in line and has now released the next update for the game together with publisher Focus Home Interactive. The co-op shooter based on the cinema hit is expanded with a new horde mode.
The mode scolds itself "Horde Mode Z" and can be cooperatively contested by teams of four players. These – as you are used to from Horde modes from other titles – have to face increasingly strong waves of opponents. The longer you survive, the greater the reward. Between rounds you have the opportunity to upgrade your weapons and defense, as well as loot items such as heavy weapons or medicines.
The new content update also brings you the following innovations:
- bomber: A special new type of zombie that drops an explosive device when defeated. Players only have a few seconds to disarm them.
- New premium weapon skins: Free for all Season Pass holders.
Further updates for World War Z are also planned in the future. These should include PvE cross-play support, premium character skins and a premium campaign episode. The release is planned for the coming month.
