The new trailer has been launched, allowing us to have a deeper understanding of the groundbreaking visual effects of “Ninja Theory” Project: Mara.
Last year, we heard about Ninja Theory’s experimental work “Project: Mara”-the developer revealed the game as a unique game that will explore “new ways of telling stories” and will be based on “reality” The world” and “solid expression” are spiritually horrible.
Now, in the new trailer, we have heard more about the game and saw some breathtakingly realistic visual effects Tameem Antoniades and his team are creating for this mysterious title.
The biggest revelation of this new trailer may be that the entire game only takes place in an apartment-an apartment that really exists! – And the team spent a lot of development time to recreate the apartment in a realistic way.
The size of the apartment, the texture of the display location, the lighting…all these have been replicated by the development team using the most advanced technology. You can view the results yourself.
Through cooperation with Clear Angle Studios, Ninja Theory managed to use the “point cloud of the entire apartment” down to “every detail” to create a digital representation of the real space shown in the trailer above.
From there, the team began to use procedural tools to start adding “signs of life” to the apartment-dust, wear and other more organic elements were layered onto this realistic replica to add the elusive “sense of position” that may sometimes be lacking Excessively clean gaming environment.
We still know very little about the mysterious game except for “aim to reproduce the horror of the mind as accurately and realistically as possible”, but at least we know it will look good because it will scare us away. .
Ninja Theory is also currently working on Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, and it became part of the Xbox Game Studios collective in 2018.
