The current situation on the planet has put the entire population in a tense situation, taking refuge in quarantine without leaving home for something else that is not essential. This includes a large part of the labor field, especially in the area of entertainment.
Museums are closed spaces due to the coronavirus pandemic, so staff will not be able to return until quarantine is lifted. In order not to lose practice during this period, a group of workers at the Monterey Bay Aquarium in Monterey, California, has created an alternative to visit online.
Employees have been broadcasting live an aquarium created in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. However, it is not a simple fan project since they offer their professional experience on their tours of the aquarium. They've even invited Emily Graslie, a fossil expert from the Chicago Field Museum, to also share her knowledge with viewers.
Hey fronds! We're so excited to announce that we will be hosting the wonderful @ehmee from the @FieldMuseum on our #AnimalCrossing island this afternoon at 2PM PT / 4PM CT on Twitch! There will be a lot of nerding out over fossils and fishes — it should be fun! Be you then! pic.twitter.com/NPPFcbUdA9
