One more day comes the confirmation of a new title that will arrive on the Nintendo hybrid console. Mixtvision Games to release game A Juggler’s Tale from debutant studio Kaleidoscube in Nintendo Switch in 2021 (It will also be available for PC (Steam), PlayStation, Xbox).
We leave you the description of the game and its trailer:
Inspiring 3D side-scrolling adventure puts players in the shoes of Abby, a talented string puppet and artist captivated in a circus yearning for freedom. Abby flees from captivity, but soon realizes that her fate is not entirely in her own hands. Will you be able to take control of your destination and make a difference under all conditions?
The game brings unique mechanisms to the table: set in a puppet theater, the acting characters are literally tied to the puppeteer and narrator named Jack. Their link is visible and tangible in the form of ropes: these chains prevent characters from walking under obstacles, for example, but they also offer a type of security: falling into an abyss while hanging on the ropes is equally impossible. A Juggler’s Tale explores the puppet’s relationship with the narrator, while making clever use of the underlying principles of the puppet game in his puzzles.
A Juggler's Tale's world of bleak beauty has already garnered favorable attention at events like Gamescom or AdventureX and has received numerous awards including the Game Connection Europe 2019 "Grand Prix" and the German Computer Games Award "Best Newcomer Prototype" 2019. Germany's game at Kaleidoscube studio is one of the finalists for the 2020 Independent Games Festival awards for Best Student Game.
