One of the best ways to promote video game in the days of most people is through live streaming and video recording. Not all companies like this, though. In the past, we've seen developers like Arc System Works enforcing streaming guidelines, trying to reduce the number of hijackers, and now Atlus has shared its list of guidelines for its latest release, Victim of Persona 5: Phantom Raiders.
This information is from its official website. The list below shows the prohibited and prohibited information – for example, when you show events or scenes in Phantom Strikers, you should clearly mark them as robbers. If Atlus deems the video "unacceptable" then it should be removed. Below is the full lubricant:
- Uploading screenshots or videos requires you to capture and share activities
- Atlus will not allow screenshots or videos taken with actual capture cards
- only upload videos to sites supported by Switch sharing features on PS4
- when you are showing event scenes or storylines, you should clearly state that there are spoilers
- screenshots / screenshots should also show: © ATLUS © SEGA / © KOEI TECMO GAMES All rights reserved
- do not use gameplay footage for any other purpose other than gameplay demonstration
- do not only upload BGM / music data, or use gameplay footage for the primary purpose of listening to music
- Uploading gameplay on sites that require written help or payment to view is considered using gameplay for financial purposes
- don't use gameplay footage to insult other people
- if Atlus asks you to delete a video, please delete the video
- videos that Atlus deems unacceptable will be removed or removed from view
- Questions on this issue may or may not be answered by Atlus
- if the streaming or uploading of the gameplay results in a loss of revenue, Atlus is not liable for anything, and they will not pay any monetary compensation.
- Players are not allowed to share anything about the name of the game or anything thereafter
On a related note, the Persona 5 demo debated: Phantom Strikers is now available on the Japanese switchch in the Shop. The western release of this article has not been confirmed yet.
