The DOOM Bethesda is permanent

With the traditional E3 event we all know and love canceled due to coronavirus issues, several publishers have committed to sharing digital streaming events in its place. Bethesda will not be one of them.

Bethesda's vice president of marketing and communications, Pete Hines, has taken to social media

discussing company plans. Though none of the show, he stresses that Bethesda still has "lots of fun things to share" in the coming months.

Given the many challenges we face as a result of the disease, we will not be hosting a digital show in June. We have a lot of fun to share about our games and look forward to telling you more in the coming months.

This news will be an issue for studio lovers hoping for more news for games like The Old Scroll VI and Starfield, and we would expect to see something about the upcoming switchch version MAKE A MIRACLE

.

Square Enix, Ubisoft, Microsoft and Nintendo have all expressed a desire to stream digital events instead of E3, so we are sure there will be more to enjoy during the main event week in June.

It is sad to hear that we will not have an event from Bethesda? Share your thoughts with us in the comments below.
