It's not uncommon to hear about developers working on new SNES games these days, and it's rare to hear one made entirely in just ten hours.
& # 39;Keeping SNES Alive& # 39; s a new game from developer Dr. Ludos, who just released another SNES game called Yo-Yo Shuriken – who was arriving with a virtual cart and everything. This new release is intended for Ludum Dare 46 jam event
The game itself is very simple, with players having to make an SNES cartridge (in which case the old releases) jump from one console to another while trying to keep each console running. You see, each console has a timed clock, and you'll need to make sure the wardrobe can fit inside its slot before that calculation ends. Doing so sets the count down to that machine, and you'll find it quickly within one of the four SNES of the screen.
You can play free online game, or you can download the ROM file to play on the SNES emulator or on the original console if you own the cart. Dr. Ludos says, "Overall, I spent about ten hours doing the whole game (I wish I had more time, but real life isn't always as you wish).
We don't have much experience with developing games, but being able to publish a fully functional SNES game in ten hours seems to impress us. Share your thoughts with us in the comments below.
