As long as your copy Crossing the Animals: New Horizons Updated to version 1.1.0 (or higher, if you read this later), you should be introducing your own Nintendo Switch game by mail.
It's commendable, and the design you get really changes depending on your original design. If you took the beautiful new Animal Crossing-themed switch console, you'll get a picture of that exact model, and players with a standard console will be treated to the Neon Red / Blue model.
It's getting better, though, because it turns out that you can customize your game-Joy-Con colors. Once you have unlocked the ability after a few days of playing, you will be able to change its appearance through the use of the console in the workspace. Using Customization Kits, you can switch between a standard set of Neon and Gray, giving you a new option to match your console at home.
Sadly, some of the Joy-Con colors aren't currently supported – or at least, we haven't seen anyone unlock more colors – so you can't match your game plan with Neon Purple or Yellow short controllers. Anyway, it's a nice touch.
We are sure some of you will offer this job as soon as you turn on customization, but we wouldn't mind introducing our switch to Workbench.
