Pokémon developer and developer Freak has announced that an employee working in Setagaya, Tokyo's office has been diagnosed with coronavirus (COVID-19).
The studio released a statement on the issue on its official website, noting that due to social media reductions and homeworkers over the past few weeks, some team members are "less likely to contract" the virus from the affected employee. The business will resume as usual.

Naturally, we send our best wishes to the employee mentioned, to their loved ones, and to Game Freak. Here's hoping for a quick recovery!
