With no doubt knowing that you visited the site these past few days, PlatinGames unveiled a Kickstarter campaign earlier this week to present Wonder 101: Restored A change later this year. It was a great success, raising over $ 1 million in over 12 hours and accelerating with each passing hour.
Now, in an update added to the Kickstarter campaign, game manager Hideki Kamiya has shared the original and new insights from the actual game
He kicks things off with the first draft of the game's design, done by himself. Includes old paintings, the name & # 39; Wonder-Red & # 39; (originally chosen), and counts the number & # 39; 100 & # 39; not & # 39; 101 & # 39; Kamiya said he was told to "get a little creative with the title", so he added another to the number.
The "rope action" page shows what a player can do with their team members; the ideas here made it into the final game.
Renewal also includes the initial formation of team members Here we can see Wonder-Red in and out of the mask; Kamiya says, "The makeup of the mask looks different, but I had no idea what the design would look like from the beginning … I hadn't decided what career it would take on the day of its hiding in the world, and we are still trying different ideas".
In the end, he also shows the original picture of the game made as an example – even though he was not satisfied with the original animation style – and a poster created by the composer for fun. It was created to "look like a movie poster", and the team stopped it in the office for all to see.
If you're interested, you can see the entire review yourself here, and a handle on the game itself, of course.
Fascinating stuff!
