The Youtube channel Crossing Channel, specialized in the saga, has published a video in which they show up to 15 fun facts of different characters from all Animal Crossing games, not just the one from its latest installment, characters like Apolo

- 2. Blueberry He was the first neighbor created of all in the franchise and his birthday (January 1) is a reference to it
- 3. The names Al and Paca in Spanish referring to alpaca
- 4. Apolo seems to refer to the Apollo stellar journey
- 5. Vacarena referring to Vaca + Macarena in Spanish
- 6. Cocoloca is inspired by gyroids
- 7. Soponcious in Japanese it is called Pump King referring to his reign of Halloween
- 8. Pati it is a duck that refers to pate … in a somewhat convoluted way
- 9. Kabuki it is called the same in all languages referring to Japanese culture
- 10. Bow y Meow refer to two Japanese exclusive characters with an electronic face inspired by a Japan exclusive device (MeowLingual)
- 11. Robot characters like Ranobot or Burst have numbers on the back, indicating that they are part of a series production
- 12. There are characters like Ernesto who have changed their personality, in this case from grumpy to snobbish
- 13. Jacinto (Elmer in English) seems to be referring to the Elma’s glue
- 14. Graciela is female only in the West, while in Japan it is a male character
