Random: The Switch Joy-Con Can Be Used As A Remote Shutter For Mobile Devices

Well there you go

Have you ever wanted to take a photo of something with your phone without tapping the screen but didn’t want to resort to the timed function? Well, it turns out the Nintendo Switch Joy-Con doubles as a remote shutter.

Yes, as demonstrated by Byotan on the Nintendo subreddit, you can use your Joy-Con to take photos with your phone. It seems nobody has really highlighted this until now, even though Switch users have been pairing Joy-Con with their phones for some time now.

It means you could go for a walk, pair your Joy-Con using the Bluetooth function, place it down somewhere and then capture a photo from afar. Did you know you could do this? Can you see yourself taking a photo this way? Leave a comment down below.
