If you're a fan of Sonic the Hedgehog, you probably already know it an official YouTube channel has released several animation shorts based on Sonic Mania and Sonic Sonic Racing. Since the end Sonic Boom television series, this has been the only way to watch Sonic on screen.
Now what else is at hand? Aside from the upcoming movie, which is due to be made on Valentine's Day next year, there power be another TV animation game along the way. ComicBook.com recently published a response from Sega Pictures manager, Yukio Kusumoto, when asked if the popularity of Sonic shorts online could lead to something more:
I think the world is definitely ready for another TV show, and I'd love to work on it. There are several conversations and this one comes from me personally […] I would like Sonic to continue, so I'll keep trying to put more stuff in there.
There you have it, Kusumoto thinks the world is ready for Sonic's new television drama. In addition to his short shorts, Sonic and Miles "Tails" Prower recently appeared on the cartoon show Cartoon Network, OK K.O.! Let's Be Heroes.
