The Red Lantern it's an indie title that will hit Nintendo Switch to bring us a very original proposal. It is a narrative adventure where accompanied by five dogs and our sled we must find our way back home crossing Alaska. Apparently, Each decision we make during our trip will mark our own history.
This is what he wanted to make clear Lindsey Rostal, CEO of Timberline Studios, in an interview for the Game Industry medium:
We knew we wanted to work the emerging narrative player. Instead of having a tough, branching narrative game, we wanted to find something that would basically make the player narrative sandbox, where it had a story structure and something that the main character is going through. But how you get to the end is your true story … it's not what I tell you it is, but what you decide it is. I compare it to the idea that we all graduate, we all have milestones in our lives, but that moment for each of us is different due to the things that happen before that moment. So all of our trips are different. It's not about the end, it's about what happened when you got there. That is what we are trying to achieve with this game.
What do you think of this approach in the game? Will you get him? We do not have a specific date for Switch yet, but we will be very attentive.
