As we get closer to the halfway mark of 2021, more video game events are beginning to get underway. We’ve already had a Nintendo Direct and a few other third-party events, and later this year E3 will be returning in an all-digital format.
Now, to add to this, it’s been announced Summer Game Fest is back. As highlighted by Geoff Keighley, it’ll be a “spectacular, concentrated global showcase” focused on the future of video games. Expect footage of new games, exclusives and more.
As part of this, Double Fine and iam8bit’s ‘Day of the Devs’ showcase will return. According to Geoff, if you’re a developer with a game, you have until 9th April to submit it. There are no costs or fees to participate, either.
“We’re looking for games from small and big studios, with a big focus on celebrating diverse voices. Feel free to submit your title.”
