Tokyo Game Show 2020

Officially, like all other video conferences before it, this year's Tokyo Game Show was canceled to help stop COVID-19 broadcasting. The show, which was scheduled to take place between 24 to 27 September, will now be replaced by an online event.

Here is the official statement:

Due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) worldwide and the situation remains unpredictable in Japan as well, the organizer and the editors have reached this decision after long thought of prioritizing health and importance. the safety of visitors, exhibitors and participants. We ask for your understanding of kindness and cooperation.

More information about the new online format will be shared at Official website and a press release earlier this month. Other recent cancellations include EVO 2020, Gamescom 2020, and E3 of this year.
