The brand specializing in the offer of managed printing services has just added two new models of multifunction equipment to its Maxify range, with the great novelty that it is the first unit to integrate refillable ink tank technology. MegaTank.

Specifically, these are the Maxify GX6050 and GX7050 MFPs, both with high-capacity cartridges designed to print up to 6,000 black or 3,000 color pages before needing to refill their ink tanks.

Professionals and small working groups

With the proliferation of telecommuting situations, organizations are demanding this type of equipment for their employees, in order to provide them with valuable tools to perform their jobs and which, in turn, are easy to maintain.

The Maxify GX6050 and GX7050 both have a large 250-page input tray (500 in the case of the GX7050) and a panel with a 2.7-inch color display from which to manage jobs.

The main difference between the two Maxify is that the GX7050, in addition to having a larger capacity input tray, also has a duplex ADF scanner feeder and incorporates the fax function, making it a 4 in 1 device.

The print speed offered by both is 24 ppm in black and 15.5 in color. They can be connected by USB, Ethernet or Wi-Fi. They are designed to cover an estimate of color printing of between 250 and 1,500 impressions per month.

The adoption of the use of refillable ink cartridges by major brands is becoming a new standard, where Epson already has its EcoTank and HP from sus NeverStop also with refillable ink.

With these new refillable ink technologies, the equipment becomes easier to maintain and use, while ensuring cost savings in the purchase of new consumables with waste and a low total cost of ownership.
