High temperatures of PC material
Virtually all PC components have thermal protection systems, which, after a certain limit, reduce their efficiency or can be turned off directly to maintain their integrity and avoid damage. It's important to avoid this, but to do it you must first know what is the temperature? of the elements.
Processor
The processor is probably the factor to pay special attention to when evaluating its temperature. The maximum temperature should not be exceeded depending on the processor, its generation and many other factors, but in general terms if your processor is Intel, I should not exceed 100ºC, and in the case of AMD this value is reduced to 95ºC
Graphics card
When talking about a graphics card, as a general rule its operating temperature is usually much higher than the processor, and the temperature is 85ºC. The highest temperature should never exceed the state of the graphics card 105ºC, even though this amount may change depending on the manufacturer; As a general rule, AMD graphics generally support temperatures higher than NVIDIA.
Solid drive and SSD
Here we have to separate the different types of storage available, and it also depends on the controller, so what we will offer is the average temperatures you should not allow to exceed:
- 3.5 ″ solid drive: 60ºC
- 2.5 ″ mechanical hard disk: 70ºC
- 2.5 ″ SSD: 70ºC
- MSATA SSD: 70ºC
- M.2 SSD: 80ºC
Power supply
Power supply is one of the PC components that is most susceptible to heat, because when the temperature is high, it reduces its efficiency and its tendency to fail. Fortunately, all electrical power has thermal insulation systems, and the best of which can get a little warm.
In any case, the correct temperature for all metals is present 40ºC, with 50ºC as the main target.
RAM memory
In the case of RAM, they all have the highest possible temperature: 81ºC before hardware damage. However, after 50ºC, system crashes and memory dysfunction can occur, so the temperature we should not allow to exceed RAM is 50ºC.
Too hot, or too hot?

When you force a PC to perform tasks that emphasize its elements, such as playing a game or pressing a file, the elements get heated and it is very important to have a good computer program. It is normal for nutrients to burn, and this will not make them weak or reduce their useful life. It is therefore important to know distinguish between overheating or overheating.
