The Ryzen ThreadRipper 3990X is capable of using Crysis without a GPU

AMD has just introduced its third-generation Ryzen ThreadRipper CPU and is already doing some interesting things. Ever wondered if your CPU could run Crysis, without a GPU? Linus for LinusTechTips has done it.

Although the processor can run the game with hardware (with no video output), it can do so with software and software. AMD ThreadRipper 3990X

64-core / 128-wire is capable of using Crysis. In this test environment, Linus enables the CPU to process the game and run it without the help of the GPU. This is undoubtedly impressive because it sees the CPU at the height of the graphics card which shows its great emergence in computing power.
