Projectors are an excellent tool for watching movies at home, since they can accurately represent images with large format (and even though they may not seem to be, they are less expensive by inches than TVs). In addition, because they reflect light rather than output, they reduce vision, a fact that causes many people to look for project purchases.
And of course, within the categories of existing projectors, you may have heard of the latest addition to the manufacturers' logs: laser projectors. After that we will explain what it is, what is different than usual, above all, the advantages and disadvantages that will make you choose from these if your budget allows it, of course.
What is a laser machine?
To define which laser projector we must see what types of projectors are available. So far all the projectors on the market are lights (lamps), and what distinguishes them between the laser projectors is how they produce the images.
The illuminators of lamps Typically, whether LCD or DLP, they use an ARC lamp with mercury vapor at high pressure when, through electrical power, they are found to emit a lot of light emitted from the LCD or DLP panel to produce final images. Since the process is very complex, these self-propelled people are often very expensive.
By themselves, laser projectors they use lasers to emit light instead of light, which is also emitted from an LCD or DLP panel to produce images.
Advantages and disadvantages
Most users think that laser projectors are the future, and they are not that far off because as we will show you now, they have far more advantages and disadvantages and, although still expensive because they are new, they are worth investing in.
They have little savings
Projectors offer good image quality and large screen size in most cases. However, in standard projectors the lamps have a certain lifespan and should be replaced, they have to invest in new lamps (and they are more expensive since the first fractions are purchased we are talking about between 80 and 300 euros).
Laser processors do not have sick parts, so we won't have to do any more repairs than we do on everything (basically, they keep it clean).
They have very high performance (not just power)
As we mentioned earlier, conventional projectors have a very low light source, and are very efficient in electricity. On the other hand, laser providers not only consume less than one-half of that energy (at least in the light-producing phase, because the image-generating phase with LCD / DLP screens is the same), but neither will have to wait for the lamp to warm up to achieve high image quality. Just like LED lights, laser providers bring 90% of their energy since we light them.
Do not burn
On the other hand, standard projectors are very heated due to the light, so it is often accompanied by a fan to give them a cooling effect, which makes the sound and not much fun when watching a movie.
Laser processors do not burn, so their cooling is just that.
Focus on the distance and quality of the image
When purchasing a standard light projector, one of the things to consider is the distance to which you are able to focus the image, which is always very limited and therefore it is also important to calculate the distance you place the striker
When buying a laser projector you don't need to worry (almost) about this, because almost all models are available for short distances, which means they are ready for any site. Place them near or far, in large or small rooms or on a screen of any size, they will be able to deliver their best image quality and focus.
In addition, laser projectors are legal and save distances with very high-quality lamp models that cost thousands of euros, preferably in terms of image quality because they are able to show the brightest and most whites in black
Bad is the price
As we mentioned earlier, the main difficulty is that being a relatively new technology, its initial cost is very expensive. However, if your budget allows you to invest in a laser projector do not hesitate and do it, because compared to the lamp it is all services and you will appreciate the long and medium term.
