Early today, Apex legends appears to have been hacked by people who believe that Respawn didn’t do enough to fight hackers in its original game. Titan Fall.
Something Apex legends Players on PC have noticed that in-game playlists and notifications have been hacked and replaced with text that is complaining about Titan Fall Hacker. The hacked news also advertises a website, SaveTitanfall.com claiming that Respawn and EA haven’t done enough to keep the older shooter safe from hackers.
The hack currently taking place doesn’t seem to affect all players on all platforms. Some have reported that it could happen on Xbox
Update: July 4th – 3:10 p.m. EST: More players on more platforms, including PS4, are now experiencing the hack. These players cannot select any other playlist other than the hacked and broken “SaveTitanfall” playlist.

Apex Legends news reported of the ongoing hacks this morning by sharing screenshots and video clips of the hacked server messages.
Advertise all the hacks a website that claims Titan Fall is “unplayable” in its current state and that EA and Respawn “… willingly pretend they don’t know anything about the situation”. The site goes on and on and claims EA and Respawn are “fraudulent” by reselling the game.
Titan Fall and Titanfall 2 have suffered from DDOS attacks and hacks for some time. It has become extremely frustrating for players who prefer respawns from previous shooters.
Respawn responded to these issues and says he’s working on it. But it’s not an easy solution. In May of this year, Ryan K. Rigney, Respawn Communications Director, tweeted about how much work it would take to fix these DDOS hacks and how annoying it is for the team. “The situation with the Titanfall Games right now is so frustrating,” said Rigney. “It took weeks of work to tackle every new stupid thing.”
As of 11:30 p.m. ET, neither Respawn’s official Twitter account nor Apex legends Account have commented on the ongoing hack. Kotaku contacted EA regarding the situation.
Update: July 4th – 4:01 pm EST: Respawn, the developers behind it Apex legends and Titan Fall, have publicly acknowledged the ongoing server problems acknowledge. In a tweet, the studio said it was “… actively investigating issues that have an impact”. [Apex Legends.]”
