The PlayStation 5 controller is one of the most impressive console controllers. As well as its list of impressive features and it has a small useful microphone built-in.
Unfortunately, the microphone is also not automatically released. While you can mute it with a fast machine, it m ay be a little safer to change the setting and have the microphone start to mute
The first thing you will need to do is navigate the PlayStation 5 settings menu using the gear in the top right corner. Next, scroll down to the “Audio” section of the settings menu. When you are in the audio menu, select the “Microphone” option.
This will bring the option of turning on the microphone when you log in to your console, or mute it. Switch this option to mute and you won’t have to worry that your PlayStation 5 collects any background noise by accident that was not intended by its online colleagues.
