Where do I get the Sheikah sensor from?
At the beginning of the second chapter, long before you unlock all the additional heroes, you’ll get a quest in Akkala called “Requires: Researcher!“Fulfilling this mission is straightforward.
All you need is 200 Bokoblin trophies, 50 Lizalfos trophies, and 1,000 rupees. You should have more than enough of all of these resources by the time this mission becomes available. You can get both the trophies and the rupees by defeating enemies during missions.
When you hand in these materials, the Sheikah sensor will be unlocked.
Using the Sheikah sensor
Once you’ve unlocked the sensor, you can start tracking quests that are missing material. There are so many materials to collect Hyrule Warriors: Age of Bad luck Between missions and shops, the Sheikah sensor makes it easy to find out where to look for missing items.
To use the sensor, mark a quest that is missing materials. You will know that a quest is missing materials if the items in the mission description have red text when the amount is displayed.
If a quest is missing materials, you can register that quest by pressing the X button. You can only register two quests at a time, but you can track up to six materials between those two quests. To remove quests from the sensor, tap X again while viewing a quest. You then have the option of freeing up a registration space in your sensor.
Tracked materials are marked with a green sensor symbol. Registered quests also have a green dot on their map icon, so you know at a glance which quests are currently being pursued. If missions or shops have the materials you need, this place will emanate a green aura.
When you mark a shop or mission that contains a tracked material, that item will also have the sensor icon. Once you have received the required amount of materials, a notification will appear informing you that you can complete the pursued quest.
If you want to track an item, you can also manually mark up to six materials for tracking. To do this, press and hold the R button on the map screen until you come all the way to the Material menu.
This menu allows you to sort all kinds of items like groceries, items, trophies and more. If you want to track a specific material, highlight it, press the X button, and then assign it to one of the six available Sheikah sensor slots.
