Earlier today, the Entertainment Software Association said will cancel the E3 game video this year amid grow ing concerns about the spread of COVID-19, aka coronavirus. Since the announcement, the game's main publishers have said they are planning to discuss the upcoming news for upcoming games, but in a different way.

Many publishers such as Microsoft and the tech giant had left the show in favor of hosting their own satellite events, but the main E3 event was still the glue that held it all together. Some companies have already announced plans for digital events later this year, but events for lovers like EA Play are not easily replicated online.
Here is what video game publishers say about the cancellation.
“E3 has always been an important moment for the Xbox Team. Given this decision, this year we are celebrating the next generation of gaming with the Xbox community and everyone who loves to play with the Xbox digital event. Details to save time and more in the coming weeks. ”

We would like to voice our concerns and support for all those involved in the CCID outbreak -19 during this challenging time. ”
“We will continue to evolve and redirect our efforts to other ways to engage our current fans with our products and services. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, major industry events may not be foreseen for the foreseeable future. But we look for different ways to interact with our fans and we will have more to share as the year goes on. ”
"The health and well-being of our teams, players and partners is of paramount importance to us, but while disappointed, we fully support ESA's decision to cancel E3 2020. E3 exists and will continue to be a time when we come together as a community and share our passion for sport. other digital experience options that will allow us to share all the exciting news we have planned. ”
“We have continued to monitor worldwide coronavirus development very closely. This situation is clearly evolving by the day, and we have been looking at how our plans for EA PLAY 2020 will change. "
"E3 week has always been a big part of what we do and we cry aloud about the cancellation of the event itself. Lop to juggle but we are currently planning to have a Devolver Direct live streaming / media conference and more."
