Bleeding Edge, a new multiplayer multiplayer game on the way from Ninja Theory, announced a new rival on Friday, and it's unclear who to expect. Instead of a standard gun or sword-wielding character, the new game character is a dolphin that pulls a mech suit. His name is Measurement.
Mekko was used in horrific genealogical research before Bleeding Edge released him from exile. While Mekko's past made him distrust humanity, Bleeding Edge taught him that not all people are bad and so he fights for them in his case.
Mekko joins us Bleeding EdgeListed as one of the characters in the tank game … get it? His skills are all around his shield, which generates Orbs power as he pulls damage. Mekko can then use these Force Orbs to switch to his other Spaniards. Here are all the details of Mekko and the ways in which Orbs might change:
- Lifline: Connect line to ally. Mekko takes a percentage of their incoming damage. Activate it to block the partner in the middle. Power Orb: Give the target a shield.
- Safety Zone: Note the location of the Paper that supplies Mekko and his allies with weapons. Power Orb: Delay the healing received by enemies within the Security.
- Sudge: Go ahead, knocking enemies out of your path. Power Orb: And they make a living while you travel.
Along with these special items, Mekko also has two Supers unchanged by Power Orbs.
- Sonic Barrage: Barrage's enemies with sonic explosions work great damage and retaliate.
- Bubble Victim: You pull an enemy inside a bubble. Mature enemies can do no damage, but their team can destroy the bubble.
While Mekko may be a strange addition to most shooters, he's out of the blue Bleeding Edge. In fact he is not the only animal in the game that moves around the car – in one form or another. Just another one of the characters of the game, In this, a robot snake attached to a moving boat.
Bleeding Edge currently hosting closed beta sessions. The game is slated to release on March 24 on Windows PC and Xbox One.
