This year’s Pokémon Go Fest gives players the chance to catch every Legendary Pokémon featured in the game so far, with a day of raids, Pokémon Go The developer Niantic announced on Thursday.
On Sunday, July 18, the second day of Go Fest 2021, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. local time, players will see the following Pokémon in five-star raids:
- Wind Hour: Mewtwo, Ho-Oh, Latias, Latios, Regigigas, Altered Forme Giratina, Cresselia and Therian Forme Tornadus
- Lava hour: Moltres, Entei, Regirock, Groudon, Heatran, Reshiram, Therian Forme Landorus and Yveltal
- Frost Hour: Articuno, Suicune, Lugia, Regice, Kyogre, Palkia and Kyurem as well as Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf in their respective regions
- Thunder Hour: Zapdos, Raikou, Registeel, Rayquaza, Dialga, Therian Forme Thundurus, Zekrom and Xerneas
Some of these legendary Pokémon, like Dialga and Palkia, could not be caught Pokémon Go for over two years, which makes the Go Fest an opportunity for newer players to fill out their Pokédex.
Players who raid at Pokémon Go Fest 2021 will receive an additional 10,000 XP when completing a raid battle, which also makes Sunday an opportunity to level up faster. Niantic gives Go Fest tickets holders up to 11 remote raid passes and up to 10 raid passes by spinning photo discs in the gym, completing timed research, and as part of a free event package.
In addition to a new Mysterious Pokémon, Meloetta, Go-Fest ticket holders will also get access to region-specific Pokémon, including Chatot, Sawk, and Throh, during the event. Shiny versions of Whismur, Chimecho, Audino, Tympole, Unown F, Sawk, and Throh will be theirs too Pokémon Go Debut. Galarian Ponyta and Galarian Zigzagoon will appear in raids on Saturday in special costumes.
The Pokémon Go Fest 2021 will take place from July 17 to 18, daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. local time. The virtual event offers a discounted ticket price of just $ 4.99.
