Team fight tactics‘upcoming Billing In addition to a number of new units, a new mode and other elements, the update brings an important new function to the game, shadow items. In an early play test, Polygon had a chance to check everything out Billing‘s new updates.
The biggest new addition to Billing is shadow objects. These are new versions of the familiar TFT Components like BF Sword and Chain Vest that have been infused with the Black Mist.
Shadow items have the same stats as regular items, but when you combine them into larger items, they change the item’s effects. In general, the shadow version of an item is more powerful but has a negative tradeoff. For example, the shadow version of Guardian Angel has the unit it is wearing revive with 100% health, instead of just 400 total health. However, when the unit comes back, it will have a 50% lower attack speed.
The shadow versions of component items can be picked up either on the unit’s carousel or in the game’s new armory. The armory appears every couple of rounds and offers players a choice of items. These items can be shadow items or normal items. In the meantime, neutral monsters will still only drop regular items.
A new one, of course TFT set also means brand new units and properties, and Billing delivers on this front too. One of the most interesting new properties in Billing is Coven who only belongs to Morgana, Lissandra and Leblanc. When you have all three of these champions active, the champion closest to the center of the trio becomes their coven leader and receives 50% bonus ability.
Billing This also includes some unique units like Teemo, which must be bought with player health rather than gold, and Kayle, which gets stronger every five seconds until transformed TFTstrongest unit.
In addition to all of these new additions to the regular TFT In Game Mode, Riot is also adding a new mode called Hyper Roll that players can try out as part of it TFT Labs. This game mode focuses on making games extra fast, with players taking certain damage every time they lose a round, for example, and level-ups being automatic.
Teamfight Tactics: Settlement is expected to be available on the public beta test server sometime this week and will find its way to live servers after a few weeks of testing.
