There are many ways in which to die Demon souls Remake. Believe me, the transition to PlayStation 5 didn’t make this game more forgiving. But I can’t help but wonder what’s going on with that one ledge in the Tower of Latria that the players can’t stop falling from.
I first encountered this ledge on my first playthrough. After grabbing a remote ephemeral eye stone on a dangerous stone, I noticed a blood stain indicating that another player had died there. Always ready for a little glee, I activated the blood stain to see the record of the unfortunate player’s death. I even started capturing through the PlayStation 5 menu. This is what happened:
Wait what You climbed the ledge and just rolled away? Why would you do this I left the area more amused than amused, and quickly forgot the whole thing as I concentrated on getting past the arrow firing device guarding the bridge and defeating the false idol.
That was almost two weeks ago. I’m just walking through Demon souls back in New Game + and try to deal with my beefy, magical character as soon as possible. I returned to the Tower of Latria and, like the first time, noticed another blood stain nearby the same edge. “What are the odds?” I thought to myself, expecting another unfortunate mishap. Lo and behold, this player died the same way! What’s wrong with that edge?
I suspect people think they have to hit the circle button to get to the ledge and forget about that Demon soulsCharacters climb certain small obstacles by simply walking inside. But when they ascended, the circle button push has already been registered and comes out as a role of what plunges them into decline.
Have you been tricked into falling off this ledge? Demon souls? Is my hypothesis correct? Someone please let me know, it drives me.
