Sony y Epic Games have announced a collaboration to take Aloy to the most popular battle royale in the world. The protagonist of Horizon Zero Dawn and Forbidden West will arrive in Fortnite on April 14, but only for the winners of the tournament, while it will arrive for the rest of the world on April 15.
As if that were not enough, there will be a limited game mode for duos that will be held from April 16 to 18 in which we can control Lara Croft with her two pistols or Aloy with her bow. Although it was not revealed if there will be an extra prize for winning a lot of games in this way that seems interesting.
In any case, it is worth noting that Aloy is unfortunately an exclusive character on PlayStation 4 and 5, we will not be able to play with her on other platforms unlike Kratos or the same Master Chief that can be used on all consoles and devices in which we can play Fortnite (except on iOS, because of the “little problems” with Epic).
The strange thing about all this is that Horizon Zero Dawn is available on PC, so it makes sense that now the skin in Fortnite is exclusive, and less when Kratos is not. In any case, Aloy seems like a great addition, and more so with the arrival of the new season that welcomes her to a new biome and the possibility of hunting animals.
If you do not win the tournament tomorrow, like most, you will have to buy the skin for 1500 V-Bucks or 2500 if you buy the entire pack that includes its backpack, the pickaxe (a spear) and the paraglider that is one of the flying robots of the Guerrilla Games game. Also, if you play Aloy from a PS5 at least once, you will unlock another costume for her.
