Cold Iron Studios ha cshared new images and information from Alien: Fireteam, the new three-player co-op against artificial intelligence made up of xenomorphs, facehuggers and synthetic enemies.
The game will be located 23 years after the original trilogy and seeks to revive the flame of the franchise that has been extinguished by a series of bad video games for several years. Among these, only Alien: Isolation stands out, a survival horror that did not stand out for its shootings, although this is precisely what Cold Iron Studios wants to highlight.
Notice Descriptions
There will be a total of 20 types of enemies and today we were presented with six, all xenomorphs: Runner, Drone, Praetorian, Prowler, Burster, and Spitter. The Runner are hunters who attack in groups and use their speed to catch their prey, they are basically the best known xenomorph species and are weak to the shotgun in this game.
Drone is a kind of opportunistic hunter that hides in dark places to catch its prey when it least expects it. The Praetorian are the most difficult to kill according to the study that suggests targeting the areas that are not protected by a framework.
Prowlers are distinguished by their red color instead of black and because they attack closely with their claws despite not being very fast. “They can be problematic in groups,” says the description. Bursters are described as Runners but even more dangerous as they can explode when killed by acid that has not yet been analyzed.
Finally, spitters are the ones that keep the distance between themselves and their prey the most, and that is that despite their claws and tail, their preferred attack is an acid projectile that comes out of their mouths.
