‘One Piece’ is one of the most popular franchises in the world of anime and manga and although much of its success is thanks to Eiichiro Oda, the story would not be the same without the fans who have supported it from day one.
Following the manga for more than 1,000 chapters and enjoying its entire animated adaptation over two decades, it’s no wonder consumers are now asking for a little more.
To everyone’s delight, the perfect opportunity was presented in an interview with the author in Weekly Shonen Jump, in which a question from fans was added about what Luffy’s jobs and his nakamas would be in real life.
Since several of the fans who asked the question submitted their choices for each of the members, Oda carried out choosing the most appropriate from the suggestions generating this result:
Although some fit better than others, we cannot doubt that Luffy would make a great firefighter, that with Zoro on the side of the law no crime would be overlooked and that Nami as a nursing teacher would be a star.
We go to the real world with One Piece
While knowing the professions of the protagonists is exciting, there is something that is closer to real life with ‘One Piece’ that keeps everyone excited and that is its live action.
The Netflix production, with the supervision of the Oda team, has not provided enough advancements to keep the public satisfied, so, like the previous case, fans have dedicated themselves to speculating and finding out about its status.
From nominating actors who would look good as the leads and even photographing the construction of the Going Merry that will be used in the filming, there is nothing to stop a fan of ‘One Piece’.
