Genshin Impact map leaks with new zones

The Boss December 2, 2020 No Comments

A Twitter user known as NEP NEP Genshin Impact dedicated to the news of the game MiHoYo has shared an image that reveals that the game map will be expanded with new regions in a future patch.

Remember to take this information with a grain of salt, even the same user reveals that the image is not from him, but from an anonymous forum that has already deleted the original post. That being said, it looks very real and detailed. Genshin Impact does not have an excessively large map but also the impression that it was intentional to be able to add content over time.

Filtering regions

In the image we can see several new regions, they are the ones with yellow letters and are located south, west and northwest of the already known areas of Genshin Impact. The zones are called: Snezhnaya, Cryo, Fountaine Hydro, Natlan, Pyro, Sumero Dendro, Inazuma Electro

However, there is even more detail in the image upload to IMGUR by the same user, including what would be translated names of the new regions. If we listen to those names, then Genshin Impact would in the future have a desert, snowy mountains, a volcano and a couple of new cities near a lake and a river.

Genshin Impact has lived up to its name and hit the industry hard with a game for mobile and consoles that simply does everything right and is free. The negative side is expected, microtransactions are quite aggressive since they affect the gameplay, but there are not a few who enjoy the title without buying anything.

This leak, if true, also reveals that MiHoYo plans to continue betting heavily on its free-to-play, so if they want them more, Genshin Impact will have more of that without a doubt. The game is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 (via backward compatibility), mobile, PC and a version for Switch is in development.
