Mihoyo’s gacha action adventure game, Genshin Impact, has continued to entice its players to keep logging into the game with regular events, activities, and announcements of new Genshin Impact characters. Now, the game is once again hosting the Slime’s Paradise event, which has just concluded, but is finally making it available to PlayStation 4 players.
The previous Genshin Impact Slime Paradise event was a browser-based activity that launched in January 2021. The goal of the game was to create a park that would make a variety of slimes want to enter and different monsters would come to visit. Players must complete daily tasks like logging in, etc., to earn Paradise Coins, which they can use to purchase decorative items from the shop. On the other hand, Paradise Tickets were earned by completing event tasks or having the proper decorations, and players can use them to redeem Mora and even the First Gems.
On the official Genshin Impact Twitter account, the development team formally announced the start date of the Slime Paradise event for Playstation 4 players. The event will be available from March 25, 2021 at 1: 00 pm (UTC + 8). On the forums, the developers shared that the reason this event was delayed for Genshin Impact PlayStation 4 players was due to some technical issues. This is likely due to account issues on the PlayStation Network.

The team did not share exactly how the event will work on the PlayStation 4, although since the Genshin Impact Slimes Paradise event is an exclusively web-based activity, players may need to use the console’s built-in web browser to be able to access the event. Or players may be able to log into the event microsite using their PS4 account details. Until more official news confirms the information, players will have to wait for more details from the developers.
The Paradise of the Slimes event will take place right after the Genshin Impact version 1.4 update, which will introduce Rosario to the character roster and will end on April 4, 2021.
Genshin Impact is available now for mobile devices, PC and PS4, and is currently in development for PS5 and Switch.
