Despite E3 2021 —The video game fair par excellence— will be held in the coming days, events that arose in the absence of E3 2020 within the framework of the pandemic will not disappear. One of these is Summer Game Fest 2021, hosted by journalist Geoff Keighley. In fact, it will serve as a sort of complement to E3.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands
The leak of future 2K Games announcements turned out to be true. Through a cinematic trailer, 2K Games presented Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. Although it is still unknown what the gameplay will be like, Ahsly Burch —Voice actress for Tiny Tina, who will be the “Bunker Master” of this adventure — announced that it will be a ‘looter shooter’ like previous installments of Bordelands. However, Burch emphasizes that it will differ from the main series in several ways. One of these will be a magic system, although it is still unknown how it will work, and the possibility for players to customize their avatar.
Metal Slug Tactics
In association with SNK, Dotemu and Leikir Studio have revealed Metal Slug Tactics. As its name suggests and its trailer shows, this will be a strategy game à la XCOM with ‘roguelite’ elements. Players will have at their disposal the classic arsenal of Metal Slug
For the moment, Metal Slug Tactics it has no release date.
Death Stranding Director’s Cut
During the last months, a rumor had circulated that Kojima Productions was working on an extended version of Death Stranding. Through a trailer full of references to Metal Gear Solid, the study has revealed Death Stranding Director’s Cut is coming to PS5. Unfortunately, the trailer did not reveal what news this new edition will contain.
Jurassic World Evolution 2
Through a cinematic trailer, Universal Games and Digital Platforms have revealed that Jurassic World Evolution 2 will be released in 2021. Like the first game, this sequel will be a management simulator. The campaign – set after the events of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom– will take players out of the Muertes archipelago and allow them to build their Jurassic Park in a variety of settings. As if that weren’t enough, it will feature Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum) and Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard).
In addition to the campaign, the sequel will have other modes. Chaos theory will let players relive and alter key franchise events, Sandbox will allow them to create their Jurassic Park without any restriction and Challenge will test your knowledge of the game.
The Korean MMORPG Lost Ark will arrive in the West during the fourth quarter of 2021. To sign up for closed alpha, follow this link. The test will take place between June 11 and 16.

Salt and Sacrifice
In this sequel to Salt and Sanctuary, players will take on the role of a Marked Inquisitor. This one consists of a criminal who can avoid the death penalty by hunting Magi, creatures made of malice that wreak havoc throughout the world. That is your mission. Fortunately, players will not have to complete it alone. Like Salt and Sanctuary, its sequel will have a cooperative mode. Unlike the original game, in which it was only local, Salt and Sacrifice it will have online multiplayer and a matchmaking system. This will be reminiscent of the summoning system of the saga Dark Souls.
Escape from Tarkov
Through a new trailer, Battlestate has revealed the next location coming to the game.

In this management simulator, players will not only have to build and manage their own institution. They will also have to make sure that the students of the different faculties are satisfied. Fortunately, they will have access to a long list of crazy races.
As of July 13, the players of SMITE will be able to acquire the battle pass of Stranger Things. This will allow Bakasura, Scylla, Sylvanus Y Apollo become the following characters in the Netflix series: the demogorgon, Eleven, the Mind-lasher Y Hopper. The collaboration will also come with a new map based on The Other Side.

Through a trailer, Bandai Namco has revealed that House of Ashes —The next chapter of The Dark Pictures Anthology– will go on sale on October 22. He has also revealed the contents of the Pasuzu edition. This contains a figure of the creature from the underworld (9x9x10 cm), an Eclipse metal pin, an exclusive art sheet and stickers.

Warner Bros. Games and Turtle Rock Studios have announced that the open beta of Back 4 Blood It will take place between August 12 and 16.
