Gameplay trailer for Ruined King, the League of Legends spin-off

A year ago, Riot Games announced the Riot Forge initiative. Through this seal, other studios will launch single-player games within the universe of League of Legends. We finally got to see the first of these titles in action: Ruined King.

This will be an RPG that will take us to the port city Aguaturbias (Bilgewater), a region of the world of Runeterra that fans of League of Legends

they know well. To free this place from the evil forces that afflict it, we are going to control some of the most popular characters in LoL: Illaoi, Miss Fortune, Braum, Pyke, Yasuo y Ahri.

According to what was seen in the trailer, in Ruined King We are going to take a team with three of them to face enemies in turn-based combat, typical of classic RPGs. We don’t know many details about the story, but it is clear that the title character will be the main villain.

We can play this title developed by Airship Syndicate – responsible for Darksiders: Genesis

and Battle Chasers: Nightware– on an undetermined date in 2021. You can find out more details about this title thanks to this talk with Mariano Vives.

Remember that Ruined King it will be just the first of the games published by the Riot Forge initiative. That means the universe of League of Legends will keep growing. The game is coming to PS4, PS5, Xbox One, XSX, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
