The Boss November 20, 2020 No Comments

Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) today releases a new video where the company delves into the interrogation of technology of the long-awaited next-generation console, PS5, which has been in a meticulous design and development process since 2015.

“Our team values it as a ‘architecture with attractive design’”He comments Masayasu Ito, Executive Vice President of Hardware Engineering and Operations at SIE

. “If we disassemble the system and see a neat and orderly internal structure, it means that there are no unnecessary components and that the design is efficient. For this reason, we can achieve our goal of creating a product with a high degree of perfection and quality ”, he says.

Among the challenges, Ito says that by making this huge next-generation leap, they had to balance all aspects of the system more than ever, such reduce noise level or improve cooling capacity, which PS5 will solve with Liquid metal just as the video shows.

“Although we have faced unprecedented challenges this year, with many of us working from home around the world, we are pleased to be close to the finish line and to be able to offer players a transformative experience with PS5 in November,” he concludes with Ito emotion.

PS5 will arrive in Spain on November 19 in its two versions at a recommended price of $ 399.99 in its digital edition already $ 499.99 in its HD Blu-ray Disc version.
