Almost two months after meeting Anji Mito — during the second edition of the Japan Fighting Game Publishers Roundtable— Arc System Works presentó a I-No. She is the last playable character you will ever have Guilty Gear -STRIVE- when it hits the market on June 11. I-Not an iconic character from the franchise, created by Daisuke Ishiwatari, as she was the final boss of Guilty Gear XX: The Midnight Carnival and the fight against her is ranked as one of the most difficult boss clashes in the fighting game genre. Additionally, the aggressive fighting style that characterizes I-No in the franchise Guilty Gear generates expectation in the players who wait for the launch of Guilty Gear -STRIVE-.
How do I-No fight in Guilty Gear -STRIVE-?
I-He cannot suffocate his opponents thanks to his fast attacks and the properties of his “Hoverdash”. Additionally, it has a projectile – or “Fireball” as it is known within the fighting game community (FGC) – which despite being slow increases its speed and number of blows the more time it spends on the screen.
Hoverdash are forward or backward impulses that have aerial properties. Characters like I-No (Guilty Gear) or Morrigan (Darkstalkers) are characterized by this mechanic.
Additionally, I-You will not have many of your tools from the last installment and will lose others. We suppose that this may be to “level” the passing game a bit. GGST
