Ubisoft has Re-introduced Rainbow Six: ExtractionAfter almost two official years without hearing about the game, there was a pandemic along the way, so the title changed its name. In addition, there were also gameplay leaks that we shared here a few months ago and where you could see that the game came to be called Rainbow Six: Parasite.
In this way, “Quarantine” went through several changes, at least in name, until Ubisoft decided to stick with “Extraction”. In the following video they explain why they made this decision and why “Extraction”, but if you got to see the leaks of the gameplay you will understand why the change to that specific name.
Name change
And in is that in those videos we saw a player trapped in an area with a large enemy that could create smaller threats. There were several objectives, but the most striking was the need to extract all the companions who fell before us. Getting them to the extraction point cost a lot because loading them forces you to switch to a one-handed weapon and move much slower.
According to anonymous sources, the game would allow you to rescue other online players who had died in their game, so the title would have a lot of cooperative. According to Patrick Methé, the philosophy of the game is “we leave no one behind”, so “Extraction” seemed suitable for the shooter that also has the “Tom Clancy” brand.
