Yesterday we introduced you to an important announcement scheduled for Ubisoft this afternoon about Phase 2; a topic that enjoyed the approval of the majority of the public, but that did not yield the expected benefits as it acknowledged the company itself after the massive collapse of the stock market.
Despite a few hours' live coverage of The Division 2 (you can watch it on The Division's Twitch channel or on Ubisoft's Twitch, Mixer or YouTube channels); it looks like Ubisoft couldn't keep its secret plans for the vorome Reddit community, which also managed to capture screens confirming the arrival of a new DLC called Kings of New York.
A new expansion of The Division 2, Warrows of New York will be announced this afternoon
They have been users of Reddit gustavonerdz and HandsomeRalph have shared this new leak through a well-known forum. In fact, what led these users to a detailed investigation was a Teaser released by Ubisoft Latin America, originally called New York's Teaser Warlords and later modified.
With this error being made by Ubisoft Latin America, both users have made extensive use of and even discovered this new content in the Microsoft Store and PlayStation Store as you can see in the screenshots below. Specifically at the PlayStation Store hosting, we can see how the arrival of this new expansion will be scheduled for March 3 next.
In this new expansion we will live a new way of campaigning in which we will face Aaron Keener, a former Division I lawyer who has not yet shared his goals and now manages Lower Manhattan thanks to trained supporters as trustees, which will make them the biggest threat we have faced so far.
Some of the new features that the Warords of New York will bring may include the following:
- Exciting new story mode.
- Promote up to 30 speeds and be able to play new campaign mode
- New New York place to explore
- Increase the maximum from 30 to 40
- New strategic options: weapons, skills and equipment
- New expanded endgame and a period corresponding to three months.
It all proves that this leak is very real, but until we receive confirmation from Ubisoft during a live stream this afternoon, we wouldn't think it would be possible.
