The Witcher franchise is currently living at its best. Building on its good reception on Netflix thanks to the series starring Henry Cavill, the platform has given the green light for the production of its second season.
Unfortunately, this sequel to Geralt of Rivia’s story will take some time to reach our living room televisions. The pandemic that is hitting the whole world at the hands of Covid-19 and the unexpected injury of our protagonist, have prevented the shooting of this ambitious production from going as planned.
The Witcher season 2 filming has resumed
After a well-deserved Christmas break, it was confirmed thanks to a tweet recently posted by actor Paul Bullion on his personal profile, which the filming of this long-awaited second season has resumed. Scheduled to be released in a few months if things don’t go badly.
