Microsoft has been in a hurricane and chaos for change in recent years. Redirecting the course after the initial crash of the Xbox One would not have been an easy task for Phil Spencer and his team. This is one of the reasons why the company has extraordinary returns.
Today I want to point this out, considering that the Xbox team and their in-house tutorials should put in batteries when releasing their games. Some things are uncomfortable, and this is very noticeable in the release of their games.
Sparse content, glitches and bad Xbox image
These errors are informed by the way they present their games, the latest releases I remember, are all full of controversy. And they are not isolated cases. To understand you better, I make a brief trip to you:
- A sea of thieves: Its presentation is marked with connection problems and minimal content.
- Decay Condition 2: Lock failure, game-ending bugs, performance issues and dumps.
- Gears 5: Problems with bugs on the trip. Few maps and errors in game design.
- Ori And The Will Of Wisp: It greets the browser, various work bugs.
- Bleeding Edge: It depends on content, functionality and saturation. Unchanged locations.
You may not have suffered any of these errors in your capacity, or as the game comes with less content. But all of this is documented in the network by users and analysis. Yesterday while playing Bleeding Edge with friends, we all saw the shack and the problems and there were times to leave the game.
We must improve
I think it's important for Microsoft to improve the execution of its games. In many cases it seems that since these games are on the Xbox Game Pass, you can't complain. But nothing else. Because in the end it is also a service that we pay for and that I want for its quality. The end customer may see a lack of ambition in these projects.
Detailed or Endless Halo are two powerful multiplayer releases coming out later this year, and of course it is very important that both games evade this kind of discrimination
Not the drama
Of course, it's not a drama. We're not talking about "very rotten" games or anything that doesn't improve any time soon. For example a sea of Thieves, today that can relate to what a good game as a service. It often happens that games like this come out without much hypocrisy, but it does keep a dedicated and organic community in need of material in the months ahead, but on release day.
