A few days ago, Apple announced the financial results of the last quarter of 2019, the company's first 2020 financial quarter. As in last place, Apple is not releasing iPhone sales statistics, so analysts should rely on other data to create their own statistics.
The guys at Strategy Analytics have published a new report related to limited smartphone shipments to top manufacturers and where we see that Apple was holding the market during the last quarter
As Huawei has said many times, an Asian company has managed to oust Apple as a secondary producer commissioned by an additional smartphone in 2019 despite the veto of the American government. 2019 ended with Samsung, once again becoming the market leader of phones with a market share of 20.9%, followed by Huawei with 17% and Apple with 14%. During 2019 Samsung shipped 295.1 million smartphones, 240.5 million Huawei and Apple 197.4 million.
Apple's distribution is in the fourth quarter of 2019 70.7 million smartphone. In second place is Samsung with 68.8 million devices and Huawei third with 56 million devices. Due to these numbers, Apple led the market with 19.7% share
The reason why Huawei continues to grow, though not to the extent predicted by the company is because the Chinese market pulled the car where you know the veto of the American government is trying to compensate for a fall in sales. Huawei's current future seems to be, according to the company, to try to reduce as much as possible from Google, something that will impact its sales at least outside China.
