After the launch earlier this week of the new 13-inch MacBook Pro, we now hear rumors of another product to be launched soon: the new Apple TV 4K.
The person in charge of releasing this scoop is no exception renowned technical analyst Jon Proser, who published the leak this morning on his Twitter account.
New Apple TV 4K with A12X – 64GB / 128GB ready for shipping. 👀
Codename: Neptune T1125
One of those things that can last any time. Apple isn't available right now
I'll let you know if / when I hear the date. Who knows, maybe Apple can keep it a secret from me 🤗

The most amazing thing about this new TV TV will be to use an A12X chip, the same one that introduced the 2018 iPad Pro, and that will replace the A10X that supersedes the current 4K model. Another milestone in this future Apple TV is the increase in available memory, in both the base and top models, now in the 64 and 128GB range.
Although the chip is as powerful as the A12X, Apple has adapted and disabled calls from previous generations of Apple TV to sync the chip and device needs, so we will never know what real power will have, even though it's definitely more capable than the previous model.
There is currently no data about the release date, but as pointed out by Prosser the devices will be ready to be launched, so we think Apple will soon do it in public.
Introduced alongside the iPhone X in September 2017, the current Apple TV 4K is nearing its third anniversary, and so it would be a great time for regeneration. This time with more competition with the public, thanks to the growth of streaming platforms, and the same service through an app developed by Apple to provide an Apple TV-like experience on smart TVs.
