Google has announced that the Apple TV app will be available on Chromecasts with Google TV early next year. An arrival that follows the one we saw from Apple Music 10 days ago to the speakers with Google Assistant and undoubtedly good news for the users of Apple’s streaming service, since its content can now be enjoyed on even more devices.
More and more compatible devices
The arrival of the Apple TV app on Chromecasts means that Apple TV + content will be available on those devices, but there’s more. Sometimes with the name change it may not be obvious, but the app Apple TV allows us to see all of the content that we have purchased or rented from iTunes.
Films and series join the content of the subscription service to offer a very complete entertainment catalog. And even more complete if we take into account that we can also use Apple TV channels
Google did not specify the arrival date from the app to its platform and for the moment all we know is “at the beginning of next year”, at the beginning of the year, so for now we will have to wait for its arrival or an ad that puts a date on it.
It is clear that at Apple, they see the potential of their streaming services. Whether with Apple Music or Apple TV +, the Cupertino company continues to expand its presence and compatibility with third-party hardware and software to reach as many customers as it may be interested, no doubt a movement in which we are all winners.
