The year 2020 launches Huawei with the introduction of the new Huawei P40 Pro, the grand finale of the new end-of-the-generation company which, it said, comes without Google's prioritization, places the whole meat grill according to the Hardware program, and converts it to a top tube, and in many disputes.
Well, I've only been able to use the Huawei P40 Pro for a while, and today I'm going to tell you what my first impression was on the Chinese company's terminal, and I'm already telling you it's the end I was impressed by its design and functionality, And that, we've been waiting to test it out for a long time, seems like it will fit completely on the top 3 Android phones right now.

Design and demonstrate
As we have said recently, the year 2020 will be the year of the holes in the screens, which is a way to get the front camera introduced by many manufacturers, such as Samsung or Xiaomi when deployed. Y Huawei has not been neglected with this P40 Pro, which is the first of its high range to include these design lines.
Starting with its front, we get a 6.58-inch screen in the QHD + solution that it also has 90Hz refresh rate
This front has curves, and it has both upper and lower edges as well as sides, but be careful, don't be afraid, because they are not as memorable as a water show, It is a subtle cache that does not interrupt or hide information, and leaves a nice space for volume and power buttons, while the lower and upper curvature do not present any distortion.
When we turn on the device, we find a camera module, which has four sensors, three of which are aligned in a column, and the other forms a two-row central sensor. It's a weird situation but, personally, I really liked it too I think it suits the device well.
Without the camera, the device's back is perfectly smooth, so to speak we couldn't find anything other than the Huawei logo located at the bottom of the app. And this is so because a student of fingers we find under the screen, While it is true that we can also open a terminal using its pre-existing biometric sensor.
Software and performance
At the moment EMUI is no longer a mystery to us, we are well acquainted with the corporate personality layer, which, as you know, is presenting to all its institutions, without exception, and this, for several months, no longer of any kind by Google, so we don't have access to Google Play, and the apps you install will need to be downloaded from the app's gallery – Huawei's store – or from other sources, such as the application website or other third-party stores. And this is a key return of the device.
In terms of such an EMUI, it seems to me a very mature personality category too unfortunately, it is getting closer to Google's Android-enabled design lines, even though it retains its usual distinctive touch. Performance, on the other hand, is not without complaint, because the layer runs very well on this device, it's high quality and it shows.
In terms of performance, we get a faster mobile, too thanks to a 90 Hz screen, it gives us a feeling of fluid saturation
Without this degree of lack of Google services, the system is going very well, and EMUI has a large number of add-ons that help improve the experience with the device, and that we can do things we usually need for external programs, such as:
- The digital balance is to limit smartphone usage throughout the day
- Safe for photos, videos and other files
- Duplicate application
- The app wizard selects how the system responds when you install various applications
- Always Exposed
- Huawei Assistant on the left of the launcher
- Single-hand mode
- Hello Voice Assistant
As you can see, Huawei puts in our hands a large number of tools that we can take advantage of and therefore save ourselves from downloading third-party applications. It's amazing to see number of pre-installed EMUI requests that we allow to delete.
At the photography level, the Huawei P40 Pro doubles the company-made bet with the Mate 30 Pro, and includes a triple rear camera and camera A 50-megapixel UltraVision main sensor that uses 4 pixels to 1 pixels to enlarge the image and that it thanks for better detail. On the other hand, we have a wide sensor unlike the sed looks good, a 12S megapixel SuperSensing telephoto lens that allows us to maximize the x5 while maintaining a good level of detail, as well as a ToF sensor for improving imagery.
Due to the long separation I was not able to bring the camera to its full potential, but the fact is that the tests I have done with the app show good results, and a very satisfactory description, albeit in low light conditions. In my opinion, one of the best cameras on the market right now.
Sometimes, it must be said, the performance of the camera is not good, such as when the sky is too hot and taking a photo against the light, or in some nights when there is less detail than we would like. Although the fact is that in deadly night mode, it's more of a problem to be solved.
So far, we have found that it is a very capable camera, front and rear, which brings a myriad of options, though when we lack some control over settings, because – even though it has been previously reviewed in its presentation – it does not allow us to choose the automatic shooting solution, and we can only change this in professional mode.
Huawei is in the best position in history, and that's a fact, because its flags are a good mix between hardware, software and design, and they are the highest end of a company-launched campaign. However, Google's absence is measured, and is something that is often noticed by the average user, unfortunately for a Chinese company that, of course, suffers greatly.
This life time without Google services was easier than when I reviewed the Huawei Mate 30 Pro, because we have many applications in the Huawei store as well We have seen that the company makes additional resources available to users to remedy this malfunction. Although, apart from that, we still have more work on unlocking the cell phone than buying another Android terminal.
Due to the lack of additional analysis, this Huawei P40 Pro gives me an excellent experience, and it seems to me that it is the culmination of years of service and learning at the company, which has acquired a commercial language that fits well with your devices and improve a lot in its software category, to the point where it is close to Google for other interactive features.
