iCloud, local or others
Just like on our Mac, when all the files we open are automatically saved, in the Downloads folder in iOS the system also has a name Downloading a folder inside iCloud Drive
While the default option will be, in many cases, the most popular, we may need to change it. F ortunately Apple offers it options to choose from
- We open the app Settings on our iPhone or iPad.
- We're in Safari.
- We play inside Download.
- We're playing Other …
- We select the folder where we want the download to be stored.
We have many options:
- iCloud Drive: It is the default method. Once the download is complete, the file will upload it to iCloud servers to sync with all our devices.
- On my iPhone / iPad: Downloaded files will be stored at the download location. If we need it later, we can move these files to iCloud Drive or another service we like.
- Other: We can find downloads from any app compatible with the app Archives.
That's easy, from now the files we upload will do so in the folder we selected
