It is an API designed by Google and Apple to find and maintain the contacts that each user has throughout the day and to know notify when a user communicates with a specific COVID-19 user. This technology is based on Bluetooth communication protocol.

the fourth beta information is included for the user it can determine and contain all the information work-related and whether activated or not. In this version, we access work configuration through the Settings app we see a few things:

  • Activation: at the top we see a change which allows you to enable or disable the notification of exposures. However, it will be invalid (can't be activated or disabled) until we install an app that allows it to be used. In this way we prevent the system from operating idle.
  • Applications using the API: After the introductory paragraph describing the technology used by the employee, we can see which programs can use the tool. This way, the user controls which programs use Bluetooth technology to record contacts.
  • Delete show logo: finally, we have the option to delete the display logo. That is, delete all contact information stored on our phone. Broadly speaking, it means that we will lose the contacts we have maintained over the last 14 days and we will lose that information for sure.
