IOS vulnerability prevents VPNs from hitting all traffic

Active programs are incompleteThey should, or at least should avoid having security-related problems. And apparently they just got a new risk affecting operating systems IOS 13.3.1 and later, and worst of all, it has to do with the use of VPNss, which may not work well and iOS may cause all traffic to them to be encrypted. After the jump we give you all the details of this new application for Apple mobile devices.

The guys at Balling Computer showed this in the screenshot you see at the beginning of this application on the Proton VPN app. The risk is affecting iOS that it would not terminate all communications before launching a VPN connection, so this will continue without overlapping to the tunnel produced by a VPN so they would not be subject to the same protection. The problem is that this is obvious to the user, and as a result he would not realize that his communications would not be encrypted via this VPN. It's an iOS failure since for example Push notifications turn off automatically when the system connects to a VPN

, a standard function that indicates that a previous connection was canceled to force them to pass a VPN.

The undoubted failure that Apple should solve is because VPNs do not have the "power" to stop this malfunction and force all communications to pass through it.. Apple seems to be aware of this problem and will definitely issue a fix soon. So in these times VPNs are used a lot more by telephone hopefully they will introduce this modification soon, we'll let you know …
