Like every year, this Apple 2020 honored the creators of outstanding apps and games for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple TV and Mac, however, this was the first time the company has offered a physical award to the winners of Best App Store. And for many, it’s already the most exclusive Apple-designed item of all time.
According to Apple, the price presents the App Store logo in 100% recycled aluminum, with the winner’s name engraved on the opposite side. In all, 17 of these awards were produced to be presented to the 15 app winners, plus two more to keep at Apple Park.
Apple sends giveaway to “App Store Best” winners
This gift was designed and produced by the same design team that makes its various products. And since corresponds to everything that has been developed by Apple, It was designed to generate the least environmental impact.
Therefore, The same metal was used with which other devices of the company are made: 6R01, Apple’s custom aluminum grade made from a 100% recycled blend of excess aluminum from the manufacturing process of Mac products.
From this week, The winners of the Best App Store 2020 award have started receiving their physical trophies in the mail.

For their part, the representatives of FantasticWinner of Mac App of the Year, they also shared several images of their App Store Best award in a blog post.
With the price itself, The winners also received a note signed by Apple CEO Tim Cook, which can be seen in the images below.
